While many Flexjet aircraft Owners head to the mountains for a winter getaway, there is no denying the parallel appeal of escaping the cold to warmer climes, whether for pure relaxation or to enjoy sights and sounds under sunny skies.

Our impressive European fleet is well-placed to operate longer flights to reach winter sun hotspots, and Owners have a vast array of point-to-point flight destinations at their disposal, along with the ability to reach them in exceptional comfort and style.

Uniquely amongst super-midsize jets, the impressive Praetor 600 can fly nonstop for up to eight hours, taking it between Northern Europe and the Middle East. The ultra-long-range Gulfstream G650 flies further still – up to 14 hours, opening a world of possibilities.

Either way, the hours slip by seamlessly, with our thoughtfully appointed cabins and a Flexjet Cabin Server on every flight – ready to take care of your every need.

Here we highlight some of the destinations that are tempting our Owners into the sun this winter.

Dubai promises a dizzying and glamorous array of amenities for the luxury traveller, from immaculate beaches, to golf courses and award-winning restaurants and spas. Shopping opportunities range from designer malls to traditional souks.

When it comes to hotels, there is a wide – and growing – choice of five-star properties. For an opulent private hideway yet with all amenities on hand, the Malakiya Villas within the Madinat Jumeirah were relaunched earlier this year.

These seven contemporary private villas each boast a private pool and lush gardens and are accessed by traditional wooden abra boats. Buggies are on call to help navigate the resort and its renowned restaurants, while a private butler for each villa assists guests with any requests, such as private yoga in the garden.

Flexjet Owners have a choice of Dubai International Airport (OMDB) or Dubai Al Maktoum Airport (OMDW) when flying into Dubai, with both offering excellent facilities for private aviation travellers.

Known as the pearl of Arabia, Oman offers a compelling combination of natural beauty, history and atmosphere.

In the ancient capital Muscat there are discoveries around every corner, including traditional Islamic architecture and atmospheric markets tucked into tightly woven streets. Oman’s natural treasures are plentiful too, with the Ras al-Jinz Nature Reserve home to nesting turtles; wide deserts and other-worldly mountains including the pinnacle Jebel Shams; and the stunning Gulf of Oman, which offers a wide range of water sports and beachlife.

Flexjet partner hotel The Chedi Muscat offers a serene escape from reality, just 15 minutes from Muscat International Airport (OOMS). Traditional style and architecture combine with stunning guestrooms and villas. There’s everything you could possibly need to relax here, with three swimming pools (including the longest in the Middle East at 103 metres) and a 700-square-metre health club and spa.

Flexjet Owners benefit from enhanced stays, including a complimentary dinner in one of the hotel’s six restaurants during stays of two or more nights in a club room, plus flexible check-in and departure timings.

The history of St Barts is as varied as its name, with the Caribbean island (variously known as Saint-Barthélemy, St Barth or St Barths) changing hands between nations over the centuries. In 1946 however it settled as a French overseas territory and has been attracting elite travellers ever since. The island retains a timeless and exclusive glamour, with postcard-perfect beaches and mountain coves unhindered by major development.

Hotels and properties are characterful and appealing, including the Caribbean outpost of the Cheval Blanc hotel group. Flanking the island’s prettiest beach the Baie des Flamands, Cheval Blanc St-Barth is the only Caribbean hotel with palace status, which is reflected in its meticulous service. A choice of rooms, suites and villas each offer Jacques Grange interiors, and there’s a Guerlain Spa and two restaurants, with menus courtesy of talented French chef, Jean Imbert.

The island’s small-but-perfectly-formed Gustav III Airport (TFFJ) is famously scenic and the runway can only be accessed by small propellor aircraft. Flexjet Owners fly to Princess Juliana International Airport (TNCM) located on nearby St Maarten, and take a private air transfer for the final, memorable approach.

With its pristine tropical beauty matched by a level of tourism design and service than rank amongst the world’s very best, The Maldives is for many the embodiment of an island paradise. The country offers endless opportunities to unwind in pure luxury on idyllic, palm-fringed beaches, and to enjoy unmatched diving and snorkelling.

One of the most extraordinary hotels in the country’s 26 island groups – or atolls – is Velaa Private Island, a turtle-shaped speck in the Noonu Atoll. Guests can book one of the stunning 45 wood-and-glass private residences and villas which each come with a private butler, or indeed make the entire island their own by reserving it for exclusive use.

The island also offers outstanding amenities including a José Maria Olazabal-designed nine-hole golf course, a next-generation spa and wellness facilities, tennis and squash courts and a host of watersports. Three restaurants are complemented by the largest wine and champagne selection in The Maldives.

To reach Velaa and the rest of The Maldives, Flexjet Owners fly into Velana International Airport (VRMM) on Hulhulé Island near the capital island Malé, and from there enjoy a spectacular private seaplane transfer to their island of choice.
