As consolidation in the third-party aircraft maintenance market drastically reduced the amount of maintenance capacity available to a large fleet provider like Flexjet, we made the strategic investments necessary to make Flexjet self-reliant, immune to the growing limitations of using outsourced maintenance providers.

Because we don’t rely on outsourced third-party service centers to maintain our aircraft, we can be deliberate about scheduled aircraft maintenance. Not at the whims of when an outside provider can slot us in, scheduled maintenance events that would take an aircraft out of rotation for 90 days if taken to an outside service provider can be turned around in 45 days via our dedicated in-house approach and infrastructure This ensures you the industry’s highest rates of dispatch availability safeguarding your service levels.


Rapid Turnaround Time for Unplanned Maintenance

The largest in the entire aviation industry, our extensive network of 28 Flexjet AOG (Aircraft on Ground) mobile response teams dispatch from strategic points across the United States and Europe. Even with the incredibly diverse flight patterns of our aircraft Owners, 50% of Flexjet’s daily flights have a dedicated, highly skilled maintenance response team, able to respond within 1 hour. Unplanned maintenance events can be quickly and properly remedied regardless of location, or the often limited on-field maintenance capabilities of remote airport locations.

In alignment with our LXi Cabin Collection of custom aircraft interiors, we take seriously a promise to provide Flexjet aircraft Owners with the best cabin experience in private aviation. An internal capacity of more than 1 million annual maintenance and refurbishment hours means the ability to programmatically refresh and enhance our aircraft interiors. Although the fleet is shared among you and your fellow Flexjet Owners, our systematic approach to regular cabin refurbishment is to uphold a standard reflective of a personal pride of ownership. Recent additions of Flying Colours Corp and Constant Aviation, two of the world’s leading aircraft interior completions centers, further bolster our ability to enhance the interiors of Flexjet aircraft with far more frequency than other private jet travel providers.

When the industry can’t solve for the needs of our fleet or aircraft Owners, our in-house engineering company can design and gain FAA certification for aircraft modifications and upgrades.
