FLEXJET AIRCRAFT OWNERS ENJOY AN EXQUISITE WINE DISCOVERY TOUR IN ITALY

Earlier this month we were delighted to invite Flexjet aircraft Owners to enjoy a uniquely special event, including a memorable flight between two of Italy’s celebrated wine regions.
Curated in collaboration with Marchesi Antinori, one of the oldest Italian family-owned fine wine producers, the two-day experience was set against the distinctive regional landscapes of Puglia and Tuscany and gave an exclusive inside look at the prestigious winemaker’s exceptional wines and private spaces — with the Flexjet team offering exquisite Red Label-style hospitality at every stage.
Puglia’s charm
The experience began in Puglia, the coastal region in the south of Italy, known for its complex yet elegant wines in addition to its sun-filled Dolce Vita charm. Owners and guests enjoyed lunch overlooking the sea in the picturesque town of Trani, before a guided cellar tour and alfresco dinner at Tenuta Bocca di Lupo estate, home to its celebrated 140-hectare winery.
The tour and aperitivo was hosted by Marchesi Antinori’s Chief Enologist and CEO Renzo Cotarella, followed by a sunset dinner with carefully selected wine pairings served among the stunning backdrop of the estate’s vineyards. To complete a memorable evening, guests enjoyed a distinctive regional live music performance.
Puglia to Tuscany, Flexjet-style
Owners and guests were warmly welcomed onboard the super-midsize Flexjet Praetor 600 fleet at Bari Airport (LIBD) in Puglia and enjoyed a comfortable and complimentary transfer flight to Tuscany, including a high-altitude tasting experience of Antinori’s exclusive Nibbio della Salla – a sumptuous Sagrantino wine aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
Following a smooth landing at Pisa Airport (LIRP), car transfers were waiting to whisk guests to the famed Tenuta Guado Al Tasso, located in the small but prestigious Bolgheri DOC, about 100 km southwest of Florence.
BOLGHERI, A RENOWNED WINE LAND
Tenuta Guado Al Tasso’s most characteristic geographic feature is the Bolgheri Amphitheater, a beautiful plain encircled by rolling hillsides that faces the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Here Flexjet Owners and guests learned about the history of the estate and its prized wines, and were able to visit the bespoke Guado al Tasso aging cellar, before enjoying an aperitivo and lunch set in spectacular gardens.
