FLEXJET UNVEILS EXCLUSIVE COLLABORATION WITH LUXURY BRITISH LUGGAGE BRAND, GLOBE-TROTTER
November 20, 2024
LONDON, 20th November 2024 – Flexjet, a global leader in private aviation, has announced a prestigious collaboration with one of the world’s most exclusive luxury luggage brands, Globe-Trotter. The alliance epitomises the pinnacle of luxury travel, with Flexjet’s ultra-high-net-worth clientele offered access to a specifically curated luggage collection, designed to complement the style, ease and sophistication of flying with Flexjet.
Globe-Trotter embodies timeless elegance and, as a symbol of British luxury, a combination of exceptional functionality with exquisite design appeal – qualities shared by Flexjet. Shaped by the individuals who carry them, the limited-edition luggage will allow Flexjet’s shared aircraft owners to travel in ultimate style. With renowned figures like the late Queen Elizabeth II and Winston Churchill well-known past devotees, Globe-Trotter cases embody a heritage of excellence.
Introducing two colourways, the limited-edition Flexjet collections are available in Ivory with a Steel leather trim – inspired by the livery of the Flexjet fleet – with a second option of Original Brown with a Burgundy leather trim. Each piece is composed of robust vegetable tanned leather and a vulcanised fibreboard body, with a unique aircraft and star pattern interior featuring the Flexjet logo and aircraft icon.
The collection includes a range of pieces, from a handbag-style Miniature Case to a Carry-On Case and Medium Check-In and Large Check-In Cases. A Luggage Tag and Passport Cover are also available as travel accessories, made from a smooth napa leather in both colourways.
This collaboration is the latest in a distinct series of luxury partnerships announced in 2024 for Flexjet. In May, the company announced a strategic agreement with yachting leader Ferretti Group, connecting the pinnacle of luxury from sea to sky. Subsequently, in July, Flexjet announced a bespoke partnership with London’s new sought-after hotel, The Emory, designed to offer guests the ultimate airborne hotel arrival experience by helicopter, included in their stay.
Mike Silvestro, CEO of Flexjet, commented: “We are delighted to announce this exciting collaboration, that brings together the decades of expertise and brand prestige from two leaders in complementary luxury sectors. I’ve long admired Globe-Trotter’s dedication to craftsmanship, and we are each anchored by a deep commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and an unparalleled blend of exclusivity and sophistication to today’s UHNWI traveller. This limited-edition luggage collection embodies the enjoyment, luxury style and exquisite ease that comes when you travel with Flexjet”.
Vicente Castellano, Executive Chairman at Globe-Trotter added: “This partnership makes complete sense in that we both have a focus on delivering the exceptional; Flexjet, with their outstanding service and Globe-Trotter’s finest luggage to complete the experience. We are thrilled our luggage will be taking to the skies with Flexjet.”
The Flexjet x Globe-Trotter luggage collection is available exclusively from Flexjet, with pricing for its aircraft Owners ranging from £150 for a passport cover, to £2,320 for a Large Check-In Case.
