FLEXJET OWNERS FLY BACK IN TIME FOR GOODWOOD REVIVAL

Earlier this month, Flexjet was delighted to be the first Official Private Aviation Partner for the unique festival that is Goodwood Revival. This celebration of vintage motorsport, aviation, fashion and lifestyle – now in its 25th year – is a truly immersive experience and attracts elite visitors from far and wide to Goodwood Motor Circuit, in West Sussex, UK.

The Flexjet Arrivals & Departures Lounge provided all passengers arriving by helicopter with an exclusive space to relax at the beginning or end of a busy and exciting day, and to enjoy Red Label-style hospitality throughout the event, including champagne and refreshments.

This included Flexjet Owners flying on the Flexjet helicopter fleet, including the Sikorsky S-76.

Inside the Flexjet Arrivals & Departures Lounge

The lounge was carefully designed in keeping with the era of Revival – which celebrates the heyday of the circuit’s original period of 1948 – 1966. Vintage luggage, travel accessories and artworks, along with tropical plants complemented the cool and calm interior décor, which recalled the golden age of aviation.

After landing, each group of guests was transported directly to the doors of the lounge in chauffeur-driven, classic Land Rovers from the period, where they were given a warm welcome from the Flexjet team. Guests enjoyed a range of refreshments with sweeping views over the helicopter and aircraft landing zone of the Goodwood Aerodrome, on what was a beautifully sunny and warm September weekend.

 

A key focal point of the lounge design was the eye-catching monochrome bar backdrop, styled as an aircraft departure board. This featured the closest airports to the seven F1 Grand Prix of 1956 – the Goodwood Aerodrome’s opening year – with flight numbers chosen to represent the winning driver and their number of race wins.

Trackside hospitality for Flexjet Owners

We were thrilled to welcome many Flexjet aircraft Owners to Goodwood over the Revival weekend – part of a series of exclusive invitations we issue throughout the year, designed to align with our Owners’ passions and interests.

Alongside enjoying the exclusive lounge as a relaxing retreat throughout the day, we were pleased to host Owners for lunch and afternoon tea in a prime VIP hospitality area, directly next to the racetrack.

 

There, at the centre of the event, they could witness hundreds of rare and priceless cars competing for the most coveted trophies in historic motorsport – driven by the finest champions past and present, including winners from Le Mans and the Isle of Man, plus British Touring Car Champions.

It was a wonderful experience to remember – and one we look forward to offering again next year.
