FLEXJET OWNERS EMBRACE THE OCCASION AT ROYAL ASCOT

The 2023 edition of Royal Ascot was memorable for a multitude of reasons and at Flexjet we’re reflecting on a truly fantastic few days, as we welcomed elite racegoers into the crown jewel of the summer sporting calendar, in our role as the event’s Official Private Aviation Supplier.
With this the first Royal Ascot since the crowning of King Charles III, anticipation was high for the start of a new era for this most prestigious of race meetings, renowned for its explosive racing, long-standing royal traditions and sartorial elegance. In such a historic year, we were delighted to host a multitude of Flexjet aircraft Owners and guests, over several days of VIP hospitality.
The exclusive Flexjet heliport & lounge
Flexjet’s role included acting as official hosts of the Royal Ascot Heliport, adjacent to the racecourse. There our team received and welcomed hundreds of helicopters and passengers in and out of the event, including the Flexjet helicopter fleet featuring our new Sikorsky S-76.
In the heliport lounge, guests enjoyed Red Label-style hospitality including complimentary champagne and a bar service, amongst comfortable amenities including a stylish vanity station to make final adjustments to hats and outfits, and spectacular surroundings including dramatic floor-to-ceiling walls of flowers, featuring over 5,000 seasonal and scented British blooms including hydrangeas, roses, delphiniums, and peonies.

High-stakes action & high-class hospitality
Luxury car transfers were waiting to make the short transfer between the heliport and racetrack and hospitality venues, including the Royal Enclosure. There Flexjet Owners and guests were hosted by our team for an exceptional lunch and prime vantage of the daily Royal Procession, before watching the action unfold on the track.
A feast of world-class races took place each afternoon – a total of 36 across the five days, with some exceptional performances and drama. There were many surprise results, including Jamie Spencer on Khaadem, who came from the back to win the new £1 million Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes in the closing stages at 80-1 odds. There was also a fairytale ending for legendary 52-year-old jockey Frankie Dettori in his farewell season, who took home the prized Gold Cup and rode three further winners to clock up an incredible 81 career victories at Royal Ascot.
Topped & tailed by exceptional travel
Such a special occasion was beautifully framed by a memorable travel experience.
