- Gulfstream G700, G650, G500 and G450 Private Jets Anchor Expanding Large‑Cabin and Ultra-Long-Range Fleet
- G500 Elevates Flexjet’s Distinction as the Only Fractional Provider Offering Access to Gulfstream Aircraft
- Flexjet’s Gulfstream Fleet is Largest Owned, Operated and Maintained in the World
CLEVELAND, June 25, 2026 – Flexjet, the global leader in luxury private aviation, today affirmed its commitment to having the most modern fleet in the world with the addition of the Gulfstream G500, which has formally entered the Flexjet fleet. As large-cabin aircraft with international range continue to be coveted under shared ownership arrangements, Flexjet has entered into an agreement with Gulfstream for exclusivity as the only fractional provider to receive delivery of new Gulfstream G500 and G700 aircraft.
One of the first moves made after the Flexjet acquisition was to diversify the aircraft types that had, until then, been solely Bombardier aircraft. Flexjet Chairman Kenn Ricci, who is a Gulfstream pilot himself, first thought of Gulfstream – a name that is aspirational even for private jet owners. Ricci placed a massive order for new Gulfstream aircraft in 2014 and changed the trajectory of the company. Not only did the Gulfstream jets have extraordinary ramp presence, but their international range opened up the world to Flexjet fractional aircraft Owners. Today, Flexjet flies the largest owned, operated and maintained Gulfstream fleet in the world.

Last year Flexjet introduced the ultra-long range Gulfstream G700 and expanded Flexjet’s prestigious Gulfstream offering to four types, that now includes the G700, G650, G500 and G450. The G500 will gradually replace the G450s and will serve as the large cabin aircraft type going forward.
An evolution of the successful Gulfstream G450, the G500 introduces notable performance improvements. The aircraft offers an increased travel range of 5,200 nautical miles and a boosted long-range offering at high-speed cruising at Mach 0.90 - close to the speed of sound. This additional range will allow nonstop flights to and from intercontinental city pairs, such as New York to London. In addition to flying farther and faster, the sleek modernized G500 is 33% more fuel-efficient, able to fly nearly 1,000 nautical miles farther on the same amount of fuel.
Inside the cabin, 14 of the largest windows ever used on a private jet fill each zone with light, creating a bright and open feel. Compared with other manufacturers that use circular cabin cross-sections, Gulfstream’s unique, ergonomic design maximizes head and shoulder space for ultimate comfort. Cabin altitudes of only 3,255 feet while flying at 41,000 feet, with 100% fresh air that is completely replenished every two to three minutes, means the G500 boosts wellness with a more natural, healthy cabin environment unmatched in its class.
The Gulfstream G500 will operate as part of Flexjet’s celebrated Red Label by Flexjet program, delivering to fractional Owners the industry’s highest levels of personalization and service. Red Label offers access to the world’s most modern fractional jet fleet, truly unique artisan interiors making up the LXi Cabin Collection and flight crews assigned to a single, specific aircraft/tail number. These crews include Flexjet Cabin Servers who have undergone advanced training at Flexjet’s Red Label Academy outside of London. Red Label has evolved to include curated moments beyond the aircraft cabin as well, including the FXLUXE Travel Guides and Chairman’s Club destination experiences available on a gratis basis to Flexjet’s Red Label aircraft Owners.
The introduction of the G500 reinforces Flexjet’s position as a leader in long-range and ultra-long-range private jet travel. With these Gulfstream aircraft in service, Owners enjoy the freedom to travel with access to nearly limitless destinations. Backed by the industry’s largest in-house maintenance network, exclusive private terminals and dedicated helicopter operations in both the U.S. and Europe, Flexjet delivers a travel experience that becomes a genuine extension of their aircraft Owner’s lives.
