FLEXJET CRUISES AT MONTEREY CAR WEEK 2025: TRANSPORTATION EXCELLENCE AT ITS FINEST

Year after year, car enthusiasts and luxury connoisseurs alike journey to the beautiful central California coastline and along the majestic PCH for Monterey Car Week—a 10-day celebration of classic cars, luxury automobiles and motorsports. Of course, being partial to elite modes of transportation, Flexjet was delighted to make our annual appearance at both The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Like any Flexjet event, our presence at each occasion offered a welcoming and jovial space for our aircraft Owners to relax, interact and enjoy the displays. See how this year’s festivities celebrated what makes our brand so unique.

THE QUAIL, A MOTORSPORTS GATHERING – FRIDAY, AUGUST 15, 2025

This year marked the 22^nd rendition of The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, located at the beloved Quail Lodge & Golf Club in Carmel, California. This respected event features categories including historic race cars, supercars, pre-war classic cars, concept cars and more. Automotive manufacturers and enthusiastic collectors alike enter their vehicles to be evaluated by a panel of judges.

This year’s event showcased more than 100 collector cars, including several new exhibits such as Liveries of F1, 30^th Anniversary of the Ferrari F50, 60^th Anniversary of the Shelby Mustang GT350 and 60^th Anniversary of Iso Grifo. The 1996 Ferrari F50 GT1 took home the prestigious Best of Show award, highly admired for its innovative design, impressive engineering and storied legacy. This is quite noteworthy, as this makes this vehicle the youngest ever to take home that title, at only 26 years old.

Amongst the impressive displays and luxury vendors, our hospitality area served as one of the few places attendees could find a moment of shade, relaxation and refreshment. As one of our most elaborate builds to date, our aircraft Owners made themselves right at home, fondly indulging in the many offerings inside. The monolithic arches gave way to a lush and comfortable oasis visitors could enjoy throughout the day. The verdant golf course greens and sunny California weather provided the perfect backdrop for the festivities, while the show itself offered an excitement and intrigue all its own.

PEBBLE BEACH CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE – SUNDAY, AUGUST 17, 2025

Each year, Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance punctuates Monterey Car Week as the most prestigious automotive exhibit. Revered as a celebration of deep automotive history and staunch preservation, Pebble Beach is considered the most rigorously judged and anticipated of all the MCW shows. This year, over 15,000 attendees walked the show, appreciating automotive evolution at its finest.

With a major emphasis on heritage, visitors enjoyed over 200 automobiles spanning between classic and pre-war, post-war sports cars, preservation class and concept cars, plus even some new debuts. Typically, the competition cars are classic or historic, while the newer models are simply there on special showcase. The show highlighted an impressive 55 international entries from 22 countries and 174 U.S. entries from 31 states.

As the most esteemed award of the weekend, Pebble Beach’s Best of Show is considered the highest accolade a collector car can receive. This year’s winner was the 1924 Hispano-Suiza H6C Nieuport-Astra Torpedo, lauded for its craftsmanship, engineering, wooden body and historical rarity. Concours Chairman, Sandra Button, noted, “This Hispano-Suiza ticks every possible box. The underpinnings are technically advanced. The body is meticulously hand-crafted, light and lovely. It was, notably, commissioned by aperitif scion André Dubonnet, and he raced it in both the Targa Florio and the Coppa Florio.”

At the 74^th Concours d’Elegance, Flexjet returned to our iconic location overlooking the 18^th green for the best view at the show. Our hospitality suite and patio offered a delightful area exclusive to our aircraft Owners, complete with delicious catering and high-end refreshments.  As they enjoyed their bites and sips, aircraft Owners also were able to observe the impressive automobiles and highly selective judging process from our unique and coveted vantage point.
