New Commercial Debuts Today Allowing Viewers a Glimpse into the Incomparable Fractional Private Jet Experience Only Red Label Can Deliver
Dallas, October 5, 2015 – Flexjet LLC, offering travelers access to the world’s most luxurious fleet of private jets, today (Oct. 5, 2015) debuted a striking new television commercial showcasing Red Label, which features flight crews dedicated to a single aircraft, artisan cabin interiors and access to the world’s newest fractional jet fleet. Entitled “Be Transported,” the new commercial is running weekdays during October on CNBC, Bloomberg and Fox Business Network and is accessible on YouTube.
“Red Label by Flexjet is a game-changing differentiator in the fractional private jet travel industry,” said Michael Silvestro, Flexjet’s Chief Executive Officer. “Red Label delivers a level of premium comfort and customization that fosters a private flying experience as personally rewarding and empowering as owning your own aircraft. This truly is the future of fractional. Our new television commercial communicates this in a captivating way that will resonate with both current and potential Owners.”
Produced by award-winning Santa Monica-based production company Paydirt Pictures, the commercial tells the Red Label story while evoking a sense of freedom and relaxation that is available only via private jet travel. The Red Label experience is brought to life succinctly through striking imagery of aircraft and individuals immersed in the kinds of memorable experiences and genuine feelings only Red Label by Flexjet can cultivate, both in the air and at their destinations.
“We carefully selected the timing and placement of this campaign because we know Flexjet’s target market of high net worth individuals and corporate executives watch these business networks with great regularity, and because half of current and prospective Flexjet Owners make their purchasing decisions during the fourth quarter of the year,” said Christopher Bero, Flexjet’s Vice President of Global Marketing, who oversaw development of the commercial. “In addition, October features high-visibility television likely to be watched by prospective Owners, such as the next Republican presidential candidates’ debate airing on CNBC, one of the networks with which we are partnering.”
The commercial was shot on location in Uruguay and California. Uruguay proved to be an optimal location as it had, all in one place, the visual components the commercial required such as mountainous terrain, untouched coastline and seascapes, as well as European-looking cityscapes to visually reinforce that Flexjet’s fleet is capable of direct intercontinental travel. The ultra-long-range Global Express jet featured in the film flew nonstop from Flexjet’s headquarters in Dallas to Montevideo, Uruguay. Once there, the commercial’s scenes were shot during the so-called “golden hour,” when daylight is fading as evening approaches, and workday stresses are forgotten, further enhancing the beauty of the cinematography and the desired emotional experience.
“This is the first commercial aired by Flexjet since it joined the Directional Aviation family of companies in 2013, and any time you have to communicate two years’ worth of new products and services in 30 seconds, you have your work cut out for you,” added Bero. “We feel that our new commercial does a really good job at not only presenting the merits of Red Label to the marketplace, but also that it contains an emotional element that will prompt action by awakening a busy individual’s freedom-craving senses that are constrained by a lack of time and the ability to efficiently get to the places they really desire to go.”
The Red Label fleet is made up of the Learjet 75LXi, Challenger 350, Legacy 450 and Gulfstream G450, G500 and G650, each of which is less than five years old.
Red Label is the result of a two-year effort to articulate Flexjet’s vision of the future of fractional by customizing the company’s services and jets to exceed the expectations of the fractional ownership industry’s most sophisticated group of Owners.
Among the features available only through Red Label is the “One Crew, One Aircraft” model, through which flight crews are dedicated to a single aircraft. Having crews flying only one aircraft gives Owners a higher level of confidence and consistency, much like the model used by the U.S. military, in which each pilot flies their own plane exclusively, becoming intimately familiar with every aspect of its operation. The resulting sense of familiarity and comfort is similar to what you experience with whole-aircraft ownership, and is unique in the fractional industry.
In addition, artisan aircraft interiors with innovative cabin design elements are available through Flexjet’s LXi Cabin Collection and are unique to Red Label. These interiors include such features as hand-stitched leather seating, a distinctively warm, welcoming color palette and customized seating configurations such as the fold-down ottoman in the forward club of Flexjet’s Learjet 75LXi.
“There is nothing else like Red Label by Flexjet in private aviation,” added Silvestro. “It is years ahead of the rest of the fractional industry, and provides a premium level of comfort and customization that offers Owners a truly personalized flying experience. We believe our new commercial displays the quality of Red Label in a way that will appeal to those who appreciate the best things in life.”
The commercial will also be distributed in a long form digital version on the Flexjet website later this year.
